        Prayer Phone Transcript

        Thank you for praying for the ministry of Torch Trust. This is your prayer phone update for the week beginning the 1st September.

        Give thanks for the chance we had to exhibit at the Big Church Festival. Pray for everyone who came to our stand and spoke with the team, that they remember who we are and share our services with their church family.

        Give thanks for the success of the final Torch Together holiday of the year at Highgate House. Thank God for everyone’s safe arrival and departure and for all the fun activities that took place. Pray for good rest for the staff and volunteers who helped make the holiday happen. Pray for good sleep and that their energy returns soon.

        Pray for more people to sign up for the Torch Retreat in October. Pray that more people hear about it and choose to book on for a wonderful time of teaching and fellowship. Pray for Michael Mitton as he prepares the devotions for the retreat.

        Pray for the online groups that meet during the week. Pray for the book group who meet on the 4th September. Pray for continued community and a growth in numbers of those attending. Please also pray for the Tuesday group who are meeting on Tuesday 16th September. Pray for good relationships and that those who attend can feel part of the wider Torch family.

        Please pray for the Introduction to SLFC meeting, which takes place on the 11th September. Pray for churches to sign up and be open to learning how to be more accessible to those with sight loss.
