Walking by Faith – Real Stories of Sight Loss and Spiritual Resilience
PUBLISHED - 23rd October 2025
Walking by Faith is a podcast from Torch Trust that brings together honest, heartfelt conversations with people who have lost their sight but continued to walk closely with God.
Hosted by Linn Davies, Torch’s Content Creator, the series invites listeners into personal reflections from a wide range of guests, including ordained clergy and Torch trustees.
Each episode follows the same set of questions, creating space for both shared experiences and unique insights. All the contributors have some memory of being sighted, which gives the conversations a rich depth as they explore the emotional, spiritual, and practical challenges of losing vision.
The result is a thoughtful and inspiring series that gently explores how faith is tested, shaped, and strengthened through change. While the stories are rooted in Christian experience, they offer something meaningful to anyone curious about how people find hope in difficult times.
Episodes run between 12 and 20 minutes, making them ideal for a moment of quiet reflection, a lunchtime listen, or a thoughtful companion on a walk.
Series one and two are available now on all major podcast platforms, and you can also find them on the Torch Trust website under the radio and podcast section. The response so far has been warm and positive, with many listeners saying they’ve felt comforted and encouraged by hearing others’ journeys.
Wherever you are in your faith journey, Walking by Faith offers honest stories, quiet strength, and a reminder that we are never alone.
