TORCH TRUST in Africa

Torch Trust for the Blind International (Malawi) is based in a suburb of the southern Malawi town of Blantyre. Here African language braille is produced for the peoples of Malawi and other African countries. From this base we support around 60 Torch Fellowship Groups meeting in Malawi and across the border into Mozambique – mostly in rural village locations.

TORCH TRUST has been active in Romania for many years working with locally-based organisations Desna-Torch and Pro-Lumina and more recently in partnership with Light into Europe.
