There are great variety of holidays on offer. Many of them happen at Torch's own Holiday and Retreat Centre. Other holidays elsewhere in the UK and abroad are included in each year's programme.

Gail Millar is Holidays Leader and manager of the Centre. She lives adjacent to the Centre with her husband, Stuart and family. Gail is celebrating her 15th year of being the manager here. She is very passionate about the Centre providing a family atmosphere and every guest is encouraged to regard it as his or her own home. Gail leads all Torch Holidays, whether at the Centre, around the British Isles or abroad and has had many years’ experience of leading activities for blind and partially sighted people. She says, “This is a lovely peaceful country house with a beautiful aspect and I am honoured to enable everyone to enjoy their stay here.”
Kevin Jemmett is the Centre Co-ordinator and has recently joined the team. He lives locally with his wife and is new to the Torch Centre. His work focuses on developing the Centre to provide facilities and accommodation for individuals or groups during periods when the Centre is not being used for Torch Holidays for people with sight loss. He is very pleased to be involved in the work of Torch and looks forward to the time when many more people will come to know its potential. “The Centre provides a perfect backdrop for a church or group event, retreat, or holiday and I am humbled by the smiling happy faces of those who come here.”
