The Torch Trust for the Blind is a vibrant and growing Christian mission that aims to overcome sight loss as a barrier to finding a personal faith in Christ and living a fulfilled Christian life. It provides Christian literature (in braille, giant print and audio media), fellowship and personal support to visually impaired people in the UK and around the world.

Current Vacancies

Volunteer Coordinator – Torch has a long established core of volunteer staff and regards the balance between voluntary and paid staff as essential to the long-term success of the mission. This role will be to progress this initiative, identify volunteering opportunities in Torch, develop relationships with the local Christian community and to maintain good relationships with volunteers. The person appointed will have flair, a passion for the concept of volunteering, be very people orientated and will see this as part of their Christian service. Based at Market Harborough.
