Torch runs a great and varied programme of holidays each year hosted at Torch's own Holiday and Retreat Centre in Hurstpierpoint, West Sussex. Holidays vary from themed breaks such as walking weeks, book weeks and craft weeks, to more relaxing summer vacations and holidays during the festive season.
Torch Holidays also run Moving Forward Breaks throughout each year. These residential breaks are for people who have recently been losing their sight or have experienced a deterioration in their sight. The breaks are designed to give people information and basic skills that will help them in their daily living, as well as the chance to meet and share with other people going through the same experience, all in a context that is emotionally and spiritually supportive.
Torch Holiday & Retreat Centre is nestled at the base of Wolstonbury Hill in the South Downs National Park. The Centre offers beautiful and comfortable facilities for hire between our holiday programme dates with delicious home cooked food and a quaint 100-year-old Chapel onsite.
Our team is very passionate about the Centre providing a family atmosphere and every guest is encouraged to regard it as his or her own home. The team is made up of a number of staff and volunteers, all of whom are dedicated to creating and providing the best possible holidays - suited to the needs of each one of our guests.
