Ability Sunday

Ability Sunday

Ability Sunday is an opportunity for churches to celebrate the abilities of disabled people in their congregations and communities. The date for this year's event will be coming soon!

It is being organised by Prospects and although their emphasis is to support adults with learning disabilities the same principle applies to any disability. Visit Prospects website for more information and to register for their free resources.

In previous years the less positive sounding Disability Sunday has been organised by Churches for All. However, their resources are good and still available via this link.

If you would like braille or large print versions, contact Torch Trust: email info@torchtrust.org

Perhaps you could talk to your church leader or minister about Ability Sunday?
